  I have a bank account here and there is almost nothing perfect they could do for you.Their tellers and agents are novice ( which is not a shame ) but they didn't get a proper training! ""Some"" of them don't know the services that the bank provide and they don't know even how to print a statement! Their International Wire Transfer is free however, I remember once it took them 15 days to send the money! Every time I called them they said it has been sent and it is a problem with the destination bank and after investigation it appears that they didn't even send it! You can never imagine how I hated they guy responsible for that! Their call center is good and usually fast. They don't have enough ATM's across the country but the current ones are 7/10 ( usually under maintenance)! I remember once all of their ATM's were under maintenance without acknowledging the customers, however, they now send SMS before ATM's maintenance. Their ATM cards are printed and the owner name is not embossed which may put you in trouble sometimes as it doesn't look authentic. This Gym-Style cards have their color cleared after a while. What a bank that doesn't even provide a proper ATM cards. Finally, I remember once the teller forgot to give me my ID card after I withdrawn some money. I spent two weeks looking for my ID card at home, car, relatives' houses until my mother asked me to have a look their. What drove me insane that the teller admit that she forgot my ID with her and she made no effort to call me or to SMS me! Well, after all of that, I still like them and cannot close my account with them ( already have another accounts in different banks) because it is a new Islamic bank. They are growing everyday and they are getting better.

  The worst customers service at all.. More than 4 month to solve problem of changing password in online banking... More than 12 days to have replace ATM Card and still didn't received anything... Highly not recommended for any business to have account in barwa bank

  Be careful: there are some very good people at this bank and some not so good people. All financing contacts are in Arabic only, you have to get your own translation done for English. Warning: financing documents for Islamic financing state that in the case of early termination, you must pay all outstanding profit to the bank. Then you have to negoiate with the bank how much of the profit they will give you back as a 'gift'. It can take weeks of meetings with different managers in the bank in order to get a fair deal on the 'gift' which can be anything from 20% to 90% of the outstanding profit. The very good employees will repond quickly to phone calls and emails. The not so good ones will not respond at all to email or calls: you have to visit the branch if you want them to do anything. Warning: most financing contacts must be terminated if you leave Qatar as you have to show that you do not owe any debt before leaving the country.
