  The experience was awesome. Check in was good. Room service and housekeeping was excellent. Their service was very fast. The room lacks a modern feel though but nice view.

  A nice hotel area with several restaurants. The staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. the hotel is clean and well maintained. the breakfast buffet is adequate and something for everyone. On one side of the hotel you can see the skyline of Doha. on the other side the highway and construction sites. The rooms are tastefully decorated and clean. The airport is about 12 minutes away by car. in the grounds there is a pool with many free seats / beach chairs and a clean private beach. from me full 5 stars.

  I'd like to give it a better rating, but I can't. Very old hotel, rooms and furniture look dated. However, the staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast too traditional with not much choice of food and doesn't look fresh. Salsa restaurant is average. The Indian restaurant serve nice food but the service wasn't great. Steakhouse restaurant have lovely food and great service. Room service is good. Nice view if you're on the pool side. Had the advantage to get access to the executive lounge as a Marriott gold elite member. It is also close to the airport. It is definitely not a 5 star hotel.

  I absolutely loved my stay at Doha Marriott. The staff were so friendly and literally went out of their way to make mine and my daughter's stay as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. The pool and spa are gorgeous and the private beach is quite large and offers beautiful views of the city and crystal clear, bath-warm waters. Love Marriott hotels!

  I have stayed at the Doha Marriott several times on business. Close to the airport and easy access to the downtown area. I always ask for a high floor to enjoy the view of the water and fishing dock area. Excellent restaurant choices. Just keep in mind Qatar has a zero tolerance policy for consumption of alcoholic beverages in public areas other than restaurants or lounges. If you decide to visit museums or other attractions never drink and drive. Leave your rental at the hotel and take a limousine or taxi.
