  Well presented, clean and beautifully decorated space. There is a lift and stairs. Most shops upstairs have modern jewellery while downstairs you will find jewelry mostly from Turkey, Bahrain and UAE. You are welcome to negotiate the price by lowering the making cost. Most sellers do not speak English or very little, and nobody inside the Gold Souq will accept American Express, we know because we tried. Seems that authentic Qatar jewellery is hard to find. There is only one shop at the 1st floor that sells colorful collars in precious stones and pearls, authentic Qatari. I hope that in the future shops accept American Express since they are loosing business right now. There are plants and some tables and chairs which make the inside of this souq more homely. Best prices are found in the shop that is on the ground floor near the lift, more like a glass stand than a physical shop, managed by two young lads. One has very bad English but the other speaks some English and gives a good discount.
