  It's hit or miss. Sometimes the service is really good...sometimes it's not good at all. Some dishes are thoroughly decent; some are truly lacking. If they put their staff through hospitality training, that would be a good start.

  They have a good variety of food in their buffet, and I remember getting the value out of the price. But unfortunately, last few times I've been at 'Shanghai Garden' there was an unpleasant smell. The food is really good usually, but it's just the hygiene that scares me at times.

  Love it, best Chinese restaurant I tried so far! The open buffet is just amazing with lots of variations and for a good price (69) QAR.
