  Is an old jail from the year 1880th and now is closed and rarely open I visited . One day i had the chance to get in it's was amazing how they preserved it . I am sorry that nobody can't see that such piece of Qatar historical place

  I got to the fort in the evening so there were no camels that I saw in some of the photos. With the lights it look pretty but with walls rather low, even its tower, I wonder what role it serves as a fort. Maybe it is just my perception that fort needs to be high to be effective.
