::This museum is spectacular. It is built on a artificial island and the design of the building is just one of a kind. It is a big museum that consists of 5 floors of Islamic art, dating back to 1,400 years. The building is beautiful and truly a work of art. During the day you get a clear view of the design and at night, you get a beautiful light display of the building. It is free to enter and there are hours worth of things to see and read while you're in here. There are a couple of break/recess areas outside the museum (once you've entered) that have mini pools as displays with the most magnificent city view of Doha over the shoreline. There are some rooms in the museum where photography is not permitted, so please be respectful. Visiting a futuristic city like Doha, you wonder where it all started. This museum gives you an idea of it's humble beginnings. Once you're done visiting the museum, you can walk along the water and visit shops, ice cream trucks, boat rides etc.

::The Museum of Islamic Art is located in the heart of a body of still, clear water. As you approach you will cross a bridge across the water and feel yourself being drawn in by the striking appearance of the museum. The white building has sharp, boxed edges, and stands alone on the water. In the sunlight, the museum seems to glow with brightness and its compelling ambiance is enhanced. When you step inside, you will be struck by the intricacies of its interior, which sharply contrasts with the simplicity of its exteriorThe Museum of Islamic Art, Doha was the first of its kind in the Persian Gulf and its sheer size alone, over 484,000 sq. ft, is a testament to the dream of its designers

::If you are a person who likes ancient history well this museum has items dating from the year 10ad. Beautiful peaces of art, utensils, rugs, books and rifles many more beautiful items. Some of the the things took my breath away. It may be a Islamic museum, but every one is welcomed. The outside has a lovely view

::Museum of Islamic Art is very informative for those who are interested in artifacts and for those who are curious what is all about. It is additional knowledge and very helpful for young and adults. During my visit, I spend 1 hour or more, I enjoy taking photos and viewing the historical property of this country. It was a great surprise that there are wonderful things around the world, very impressive that you can also see from the museum. It is one of a kind. Bring your friends and family, it is highly recommended. VSR

::Nice collection of art from countries with Islamic history. Some of items are very old. Not sure if those have been restored, but some of them still inspire in terms of how people in those old times managed something like that. Museum is divided into multiple subsections with each hosting a bunch of relevant art work. If you are interested in Muslim history in terms of art over past 14 centuries, this is good place to go.
